Jollof Wars South Africa 2024 is a special event which involves a cooking competition between nationals of countries such as Nigeria, Senegal, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Liberia, The Gambia and Cameroon to determine who makes the best jollof rice dish. The compeition is aimed at raising awareness about jollof rice in South Africa about a beautiful African cuisine that has turned into battle of supremacy in West Africa as to who cooks it best.
Jollof Wars is also a celebration of culture as a means of mutual development and cultural exchanges amongst Africans. The event is open to anyone who can cook really lovely jollof rice either in their personal capacity or as a chef. It is also open to nationals from any country in Africa partucularly from the Western part. There will be judges who will examine, taste and judge the various competition dishes and the top three dishes will attract cash prizes and consolation prizes will be awarded to the top six dishes.
R395 early bird tickets closes on November 2nd. It gets you lunch and beverage.
R500 General admission fee gets you lunch and beverage.
R1500 Exhibitors Fee gets you a table as well as lunch and beverage.
